2009 Allotment Planting Plan

Below is our planting plan for 2009, once again we have been quite selective with the types of veg we are growing, so allowing us to hopefully reap bigger crops of the ones we enjoy.

This plan combines our normal roational technique with an understanding of which crops will be in the ground at any one time. This is to allow most effective use of space and ensure there is enough room towards the end of the season for our ever expanding pumpkin patch.

Onions and root crops to the front. Pumpkins, potatoes, squashes, beans and sweetcorn in the centre and along the side. Brassica's and Odd's and sodd's (the experimental patch) to the rear. As well as the relocation of our rhubarb and strawberry beds, with the final addition of our  - hopefully sturdy poly tunnel.

Apologies for the quality of the above image, unfortunately after several attempts this was the best view we could provide.
